Nancy wanted to get a dog just like Mrs. Devine’s. First she borrowed her neighbor’s dog named Jewel. But Jewel was too small and nervous to be Nancy’s dog.  So Nancy’s mom took her to the animal shelter where she met a dog called Frenchy. Frenchy was the perfect dog.
