Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. We had the words of the unofficial creed of the US postal service in mind as we mounted sleds for our unusual trek to Holy Liturgy this morning in the post-blizzard conditions of Boston. We could have taken the car as many did this morning, but with the limited spaces afforded by the continuing ban on parking along the major streets, it was actually easier for us to simply make our way on foot. The pictures show what a magical journey it was!
The kids will likely always remember that journey to church on a sled. Intrepid Friars!
